The Espace Liberté ski area covers 120 km of ski slopes between France and Switzerland, across the resorts of Châtel, La Chapelle d'Abondance, Torgon, and Morgins (Corbeau area).

The different areas
From beginners to experienced skiers, each area of the Espace Liberté has its own personality.
Super Châtelarea
Accessible either via the Super-Châtel gondola located in the center of the village, or via the Petit Châtel and then the Barbossine chairlifts. Ideal for beginners with its numerous green and blue slopes, this area also features a snowpark, an avalanche transceiver (DVA) park, a fun boarder cross on the Chalet Neuf site, a speed track, and the “Green - Flocon vert” mountain fauna and flora themed trail on the Chermillon slope.
Super Châtel area is directly linked to the Linga area thanks to the Vonnes inter-domain connection via the Portes du Soleil and Gabelou chairlifts.
This area is directly linked to the Swiss resorts of Morgins (via the Chalet Neuf drag lifts) and Torgon (via the Tour de Don drag lift). From Torgon, it is possible to reach la Chapelle d'Abondance ski area.
Pré la Jouxarea
The Linga / Pré la Joux / Plaine Dranseareas will delight intermediate and advanced skiers with their numerous and varied red and black slopes.
These areas are directly linked to the Avoriaz ski area from the top of the Rochassons chairlift via the “Chaux Fleurie” red slope or the “Grand Plan” blue slope. At the foot of these areas , in Pré la Joux, a magic carpet, two drag lifts, and the Pierre Longue chairlift serve green slopes that are ideal for learning to ski. Don't forget the fun Belette slope, featuring over 20 interactive elements along the trail to delight both children and adults alike!
This area is accessible either by the new Linga chairlift, by the Pré la Joux and Pierre Longue chairlifts located in Pré la Joux, or by the Gabelou chairlift in Vonnes.

In Châtel, we are lucky enough to ski with breathtaking views! You could say that some landscapes are almost unreal because they are so beautiful. Do you love panoramic views? Good news: in Châtel, we have gathered the most beautiful viewpoints of the ski area just for you. “Best View” spots that will make you want to pull out your camera... or simply stand there open-mouthed.
- Tour de Don: the perfect spot to enjoy Lake Geneva... without needing a boat.
- Le Morclan: 360° of pure visual bliss. Bonus: you can point at Mont-Blanc to impress your friends.
- Chalet Neuf: the official selfie spot. The most beautiful mountain peaks behind you... no Instagram filter needed.
- Vonnes (inter-domain link): the center of the world. Yes, you really are at the heart of it all.
- La Tête du Linga: ideal for feeling tiny (but very stylish).
- La Chaux des Rosées: a royal panorama over Mont de Grange. Ideal for feeling majestic... or just to impress your friends.
- Plaine Dranse: perfect for pretending to meditate... when in reality, you're already thinking about the ski-slope fondue in the local restaurants.
